Rosalia

Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. When she was a teenager she sang both in traditional and popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to encompass soul and hip-hop. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer is her second album that was that was released in the year 2018, and was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she got a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also an Latin Grammy nod. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami, her third album, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. This set was released March 2022 after a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia performed solo in her first appearance on the show. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman to win both of these awards.
