Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American model, TV host and actress is an American comedian. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012, when she was just 4 years old of age. She had double pneumonia due to an aggressive S. pneumoniae bacteria infection. She desperately needed medical assistance that could save her life and was put on ECMO life-support at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. It was not until her kidneys recovered that she could be saved when she contracted an infection that was septic and she had multiple organ malfunctions. Her life became a new routine of hemodialysis and the peritoneal dilation. After eighteen days in hospital, from the point where she was close to death, and began her long journey back to good health. Her life had been forever changed. After a year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the most significant operation she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. Her mother was the sole person who was able to donate an organ. Angelica, along with her mother, went through an organ transplant successfully on September 13, 2013 at two fantastic hospitals situated right next to each other: Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale is pursuing her celebrity dreams from the moment she was born.
