Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that was devoted to music. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, old boleros and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, she began her more intensive singing training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. As a student and young professional, she was a part of many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. Following her move into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her home in southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Her passion for performing, music, and the arts keeps active in community projects both as an artist and teacher. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
